Warped Sportz, in their continuing effort to provide the best customer service on the planet, takes the time and space to outline their warranty policy. It will be different than other custom Angel warranties.
Terms
Beware of warranties that don’t tell you what the terms are. Warped Sportz offers a lifetime labor warranty, which means the $40 per hour tech fees we would normally charge for gun work are waived for your Dark Angel.
In addition, The Dark Angel is factory authorized. This means that we do no modifications and upgrades not approved by WDP, thus leaving the WDP factory warranty on parts intact. Dark Angels come with the standard WDP Factory Warranty on non-wearable parts. You should consult your Angel Owner’s Manual for specifics regarding your parts warranty. (This Warrantee is only available to the original purchaser of the marker.)
Registration
When you send in your warranty card to us, your name, address, phone number, e-mail, and serial number will be registered in our database. There are several perks to being a Dark Angel owner that you will receive, including e-mail and or mail updates on the latest products and news from Warped Sportz, BEFORE everybody else gets the info.
Through the registration of your serial number, we can track exactly what work we have done previously on your marker. We also monitor all the Dark Angels that come in for repair, so in the event your marker is stolen , your serial number will be flagged. If we see that number come in, we can recover the marker for you! Our system also allows us to inform our large network of paintball stores that we wholesale to, all across the country, to be on the lookout for a Dark Angel with your serial number. This can aid greatly in recovering your gun.
Our registered list of Dark Angel owners will also be taken to all WDP/ Warped Angel VIP or promotional events, allowing you easy access. (see VIP / Promo section)
Tune Ups / Check Ups
We do not outline specific shot levels at which you should turn in your gun for check up. Having specific numbered-shot checks where we look for specific problems would imply that we EXPECT certain parts of the marker to give you trouble or wear out after a certain level of usage. With the Dark Angel, we don’t EVER expect you to have problems with ANY parts.
We want you to be happy, and have total, 100 percent confidence in your marker when you take it on field.
We want you to send your gun in to us WHENEVER YOU want. Whether it’s for a tune up, or checking a problem, if your are concerned, then we are concerned.
Promotional / VIP Events
This really has absolutely NOTHING to do with a warranty, which is about the up keep of your marker. However, as an angel owner, you WILL have access to any VIP, promotional WDP event.
Since Warped Sportz is the ONLY company to ever co-promote a VIP event with WDP, all Dark Angel owners will get preferred treatment at all the events.
Voiding The Warranty
Unfortunately, there are SOME ways you can void your lifetime labor warranty as well as your WDP Parts warranty. You should consult your Angel owner’s manual before making ANY modifications to your marker. If you are ever unsure about the results of an upgrade you want to make to your Dark Angel, PLEASE call Warped Sportz first and ask. Here is a list of some of the things that will void out your lifetime labor warranty AND your WDP parts warranty;
The Gabriel Board, self-made wall chargers, aftermarket hammers(not produced by WDP), and any drilling done to your marker whatsoever, whether it’s done by you or a machinist.
Switches do not automatically void your warranty, but be very careful with push-button switches. Tapping them too quickly can allow extra charges of current to pulse through your gun, and can do damage to the wiring and or board.
Trigger Jobs, tho easy, can be very damaging to your wired internals if you are not extremely careful, make sure your wires are not going to be pinched between the grip frame and the body of the angel, when your putting your grip frame back onto the body of the marker, if these wires get pinched, more than likely you will cause a short and your battery will melt along with your wires and possibly the circuit board as well. This will not void your warranty, but your warranty will not cover this type of mishap, you will have to purchase new ;said parts.
Milling or Anodizing, not authorized or done by Warped Sportz / WDP may void your warranty if you use an outside source and they mess up your marker.
Aftermarket Parts, not authorized/backed by Warped Sportz or WDP may void your warranty. (items that fall under this category would be; Valves, Bolts, Hammers, Feedports, Circuit Boards, Grip Frames, Maximizers, Batteries, Sensor Eyes, intellifeeds, Screws, Switches).
(If you are still unsure if the part you have will void your warranty, please call 888.235.9277 and speak to someone about the part before you put it on your marker.)_
Non WDP/Warped Sportz Authorized Angel Repair Centers, If you have someone not authorized to fix angels working on your marker, and they damage the marker in any way, this could void your warranty completely.
Acts of GOD; If you marker gets damaged/broke because of hurricanes, tornado's, hail, floods, ice, rain, snow, mud slide, frogs falling from the sky landing on your marker and ruining it, lightning, wind, flatulence you get the picture....
Acts of own clumsiness; Falling on, Tripping over, Dropping, or throwing your dark angel, will not be covered under our warrantee....
