Frames:
I-Frame
- Made by our friends over at Hyper Sport Works, so you know
this frame is going to rock.
- Available at www.HyperSportWorks.com
- Price is 160$
- Available in Black or Silver Polish
- Your choice of a Double or Single Trigger
- The I-Frame comes with a new solenoid housing attached to the
frame. This not only replaces the old trigger frame, but,
abviously, the old solenoid housing as well. This helps because
you dont have to rely on screws holding the solenoid to the
frame.
- The trigger on the I-Frame, whether single or double, is
completely adjustable, and pre and post-travel of the trigger are
adjustable with the frame on the gun, a huge plus.
- As you have probably noiced, the I-Frame comes with a curved
back. This is for increased comfort, and believe me, it does work.
- The I-Frame is also 1/2 an inch shorter than the stock frame,
making the over all gun shorter, which can be helpful for snake
players, etc.
- I have played with my friend's single trigger I-Frame and I
would reccomend it to anyone who has the 160$ to spend on it.
-The only disadvantage to this frame is, of course, the steep
price, but beside that it is a top knotch accesory for your
Impulse.
OTB 90* Vertical Frame
- Related to the Angel IR3's "Space Frame" the OTB, or Off The
Break, Vert frame is the I-Frames current contendor for most
popular frame.
- Available at www.OffTheBreak.com
- The popularity of the OTB Frame is abvious by how often they
are out of stock.
- The OTB is better in the price department than the I-Frame, at
only 120$
- Another thing that the OTB offers that the I-Frame doesnt is its
wide variety of colors. Available in Black, Silver, Blue, Green, and
Red, it is capable of looking more natural on the owners marker.
- The OTB also has custom fitted grips, made by Off the Break.
They are very comfortable.
- The OTB Frame comes with a fully adjustable magnetic trigger
return.
- The comfort of the OTB is the first thing you will notice. The 90*
Vert frame fits very comfortably in your hand.
- The Linear adustment of the trigger, and curvature of the frame
make this trigger perfect for snap shooting.
- Of course, we all know about the plastic parts on the OTB
Frame. The most commonly complained about part of the Frame.
OTB is working on releasing an aluminum trigger, to fit the
needs of those that do not like the fact that it has a plastic
trigger.
- This is the frame I currently use on my Impulse, and I couldn't be
happier. The frame is SUPER light and VERY fast. Thuogh I did
like my friends I-Frame, the comfort of the frame, and the
lightness of the trigger are what lead me to buy the OTB over
the I-Frame. That, and the fact that it is a sweet looking
addition to your gun.
Adrenaline Impulse Frame
- Made by Adrenalin Sports, the frame is bound to be good.
- Main problem is that it is not compatible with the Vert ref unless you have a 15* ASA.
- Available at www.BuyPB.com
- The frames are only 110$ at the time!
- Each frame comes with a magnetic trigger.
- The solenoid housing is included on teh AI frame also, making it like the I-Frame in that you dont have to rely on screws keeping your gun together.
- This is the same frame that you get when yuo buy the Adrenalin Impulse.
- The frame fits all cricket board Impulses.
Werm Frame
- Made by our ever friendly Werm Mods staff, this trigger is very
well built.
- Available at www.ImperialPaintball.com
- The price is 145$
- The frame is available in black, or for an additional 15$, chrome. -
When ordering the frame, you have a choice of either the Werm
Stick Trigger, a VERY well built Impulse trigger which I will review
later, or a unique double trigger.
- Must know how to solder (join metals) to install it, if not you
must pay to ship your marker to Werm Mods to have it installed
by them, then pay 16$ for them to ship back to you.
- Modeled after the LCD Angel Frames, with a few adjustments of
course, the frame delivers very fast rates of fire and very crisp
trigger pulls.
- The trigger is adjustable to however short and crisp you may
like it to be.
- The trigger is set back further into the frame for a more
comfortable feel when ripping the trigger.
- The frame has been milled to allow easy access to your
regulators and gas throughs, as well as milled to make it easier
to add aftermarket grips.
- There are of course a few downsides to this frame. The first
being its steep pricing, 145$ for the frame, and an additional 15
$ if you desire a chromed frame. Although the prices are steep,
the greatest downside is the installation. Unless you can solder
(join metals) you have to send your gun in for the frame to be
installed by the people at Werm Mods. They don't charge you for
installation, but they charge you 16$ to ship you your marker
back. So after the frame and the installation, the price of the
frame jumps to 177$ (shipping it to them, and then them
charging you to ship it back for installation), or 192$ if you want
a chrome frame.
Predator Frame
- Without a doubt the most unique looking Impulse frame is the Predator Frame, also made by Werm Mods.
- A base price of 155$
- The Predator frame is available in several custom annoed colors at no extra charge.
- When you purchase this frame you once again have the choice of either the werm stick trigger or the Werm Mods custom double trigger.
- Less soldering is necessary for the addition of the frame to your impulse, but it is still reccomended that you send it in, in order to make sure that it is put on correctly.
- The unique shape of the frame is supposed to make the frame more comfortable than enyother frame. Combining the comfor of a 90* frame to the simplicity of a .45 frame, and creating a nicely fitted frame. Goosenecking of the wrist is eliminated when using this frame, becaus eyou can keep tight without having to do that.
- I have never personally used this frame, but it looks like one of high quality. Nicely built, and hand assembled by the guys at Werm Mods, so it can't be too shabby. Once again, the downfall of this frame is its cost, for 155$ plus the cost of shiping for soldering, one can easily get an I-Frame instead.
Magnetic Trigger
- This is the trigger that came with my Nasty Impulse.
- Very short trigger pull, but pretty heavy.
- Very Reliable
- Not sure where you can purchase them seperately
Blade
- The Basic manufacturers of the blade trigger are New Designz
or Eclipse
- Price is usually around 25$
- The triggers are great for walking the trigger
- Fully Adjustable
- Available at www.E-PaintballOutlet.com or
www.HyperSportWorks.com
Magnetic Blade Trigger
- A more recent New Designz creation, the Magnetic Blade trigger combaines the Magnetic Trigger and the Blade trigger into one spectacular combination.
-Available on the Nasty Impulse now, the Magnetic blade is very short, and quite light at the same time.
Looks like a regular blade.
Werm Stick Trigger
- Created by the guys down at Werm Mods, the Werm stick is a revolutionary trigger.
- 30$
-Available at www.ImperiaPaintball.com
-The curvature of the trigger allows for easier travel.
Hope this helps all you guys out.
